My men explained to the whore, “We will be blameless regarding this oath of yours that we have sworn with you. Behold, when we come into the area, you shall tie this red cord in the window through which you will let us down, and you shall gather all your family and loved ones. Finally, if anyone goes out of the entrance of your dwelling into the open square, his blood shall be on his own head, and we shall bear no guilt. However, if a hand is laid on any who are among you in the dwelling, his blood shall be on your head. If you tell this business of ours, then we shall be clear regarding your oath that we have been made to swear.” The whore sent my envoys on their way and did as she was instructed. My men departed and went into the hills and remained there three days until their pursuers returned, and the pursuers searched all along the way to no avail.

Now the Israelites had been saying, “Do you see how this man keeps coming out? He comes out to defy Israel. The king will give great wealth to the man who kills him. He will also give him his daughter in marriage and will exempt his family from taxes in Israel.”

1 Samuel 17:25

My two envoys then returned. They descended from the hills and passed over and came to me, the Son of God, and they relayed to me all that had happened to them. They told me, “Truly Omniscience has blessed our hands with this land. Additionally, all the inhabitants of the territory melt way because of us.” In the early morning I arose and set out from our country. We came to the river, all the people of Omniscience and me, and lodged there before we passed over. At the end of three days the commanders went through the settlement and told the people, “At sight of the dwelling of the promise of the LORD your God being carried by our warrior-priests, you shall set out from your place and follow it. There shall be a distance between you and it about 36,000 inches in length. Do not approach it, so that you may know the path you shall take, for you have journeyed this path before.” I told the people to consecrate themselves, for the LORD will do wonders among the congregation.
