Though they are driven into exile by their enemies,
    there I will command the sword to slay them.

“I will keep my eye on them
    for harm and not for good.”

Amos 9:4

At your greatest victories, you are often the most vulnerable to descent. I had just won an amazing victory with God’s help, but suddenly I became so discouraged that I wanted to die. I had already forgotten the power God had displayed in the garden. You often do the same thing as you depend on God‘s power; you progress in the process of recovery, but suddenly opposition comes your way, and you are overcome by temptation. You begin to wish you could die. Let you all learn from me. You would be wise to consider your victories as warning signs times when you should renew your dependence on God, this will help you experience one success after another. So, then self-doubt is common to all of you. I doubted myself when I was on the run from evil. God dealt with me in a loving, patient manner by reassuring me that I was not alone, reassurance and arrest our solid prescription for those afflicted with self-doubt. You all need to build a community of support to help yourself through the difficult times of recovery without the help of others it will be impossible for you to succeed.

The day of the Lord is near
    for all nations.
As you have done, it will be done to you;
    your deeds will return upon your own head.

Obadiah 15
