for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

1 John 5:4

But the Lord said to me, “What are you doing here, Cursten?” I replied, “I have zealously served the Lord God Almighty, but the people of creation have destroyed their covenant with you, tear down your alters and killed everyone of your servants. I am the only one who remains and now they’re trying to kill me too.”

“Go out and stand before me on the mountain.” The Lord told me, and as I stood there, the Lord passed by and the mighty rainstorm covered the mountain. It was such a terrible blast that the rocks were eroding in present time, but the Lord was not in the water. There was thunder, but the Lord was not in the thunder, and after the thunder there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire, and after the fire, there was the sound of a gentle whisper. When I heard it, I wrapped my face in my cloak, and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave, and the voice said, “What are you doing here, Cursten?” I replied again, “I have zealously served the Lord God, Almighty, but the congregation of creation has destroyed their covenant with you torn down your altars and killed every one of your servants. I am the only one who remains and now they are trying to kill me too.” Then the Lord told me go back the same way I came and travel to the wilderness of wickedness. When I arrive there, anoint the priest to be king of the territory, then anoint the grandson of the Prince to be king of creation, and anoint the son of the encircling territory from the town above to replace you as my servant. Anyone who escapes from the priest will be killed by the minister, and those who escape the land will be killed by your successor. Yet I will preserve 10,000 others in creation who have never bowed down to evil or kissed him.

I answered, “Sir, you know.”

And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore,

“they are before the throne of God
    and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne
    will shelter them with his presence.
‘Never again will they hunger;
    never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’[a]
    nor any scorching heat.
For the Lamb at the center of the throne
    will be their shepherd;
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’[b]
    ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’[c]
